Indeed. It is absolutely worth sampling. C.R.A.F.T.'s IBA was also very nice, as were so many of the brews that night. As far as beers in this style are consumed I think my favorite thus far is a toss up between the above Hop in the Dark and 21 Amendment's Back in Black. Hooray for stylistic blending. Cheers!

Man I gotta try this. Not because I like the style, well I do, but I am impressed with how these guys are making beers so dark in color taste so 'not dark'. Remember the homebrew India Black we had from the C.R.A.F.T. Club at the AHA conference? that was the best I've had so far. I'll have to see how the professionals in Bend perform.

You definitely should. The aroma alone is enough to make me very happy. Hope you guys are enjoying PDX (totally not jealous at all...) When are you guys coming back down and bringing us all kinds of great beer that we can't get here? Your certainly in a prefect place to be riding a new bike, hope it's treating you well. Cheers!

Aye, it is my favorite glass. I love the wide tulip opening and its overall shape, it's a fantastic tasting glass; and a solid brewery at that. Cheers!

Thanks for your thoughts on this beer. I've seen it in the stores and have considered picking up. Now, next time I do, I will, maybe on my new bike even.

Indeed. It's a gig with IBM & Best Buy, more or less temporary but it's pretty cool. We should have some beers some Monday or Sunday. Cheers!
